Tow points very differents, first this site is on-line with SPS2010 (Yes !) Second Windows 7 for SPS2010 (I do it, that is a great solution for tests).
Today I set out to install SharePoint Server 2010 on my local machine running Windows 7 Professional. This was one of the things I was most looking forward to about 2010, being able to develop locally is not only great for the developers out there, but also for us SharePoint Branding folks, i.e. web designers. It makes life SOOOOOO much easier when you don’t have to wrangle virtual machines in order to build out some master pages! So, needless to say, I was really looking forward to making this setup happen for myself.
So, there is an article you can follow on MSDN, which guides you through MOST of what you’ll need to do w/ the current beta that’s out there. However, when it comes to getting the configuration wizard to complete successfully, you’ll need to follow some extra steps, unsupported ones at that. Until the Hot fix comes out this is the only way you’ll get your installation up and running.

PowerShell has been nicely integrated into SharePoint 2010 and is the eventual replacement of stsadm. Stsadm still exists with SharePoint 2010 for backward compatibility reasons but PowerShell is here to stay and will be the most widely adopted and used out of the two. PowerShell is included as a prerequisite which is automatically downloaded and installed during the prerequisite install of SharePoint 2010. Aujourd’hui c’est un petit tutoriel très simple sur l’utilisation de PowerPoint pour réaliser vos thèmes pour SharePoint 2010.
En effet, qui n’a jamais voulu se créer un petit thème rapidement pour son site SharePoint, mais que le développement et les CSS ne sont pas la langue maternelle ? Dans sa prochaine version, SharePoint propose donc un moyen très simple d’ajouter de nouveaux thèmes à vos sites sans requérir une seule ligne de code, et même plus, sans aucune notion technique.

Aujourd’hui je vais vous parler d’une fonctionnalité longtemps demandée et espérée par un grand nombre d’utilisateurs : la possibilité de changer la langue de l’interface une fois le site créé. Les sites SharePoint n’étant pas multi-langues (les variantes n’étant qu’un mécanisme proposant de la duplication de structure et de contenu) et le choix étant effectué dès leur création, il n’était jusqu’alors pas possible de proposer une autre langue que l’initiale.

The complete installation on a single server using non-domain accounts. Something most developers, demonstrators and testers do a lot of suddenly requires the use of domain accounts instead of local machine accounts. Or does it....
The recommendation for a single server build of SharePoint 2010 is to use the Stand Alone installation giving you SQL express and a default configuration. But what if you want to use SQL Server 2008 and to have more control over the build, and to use local service accounts. In this case you need to use complete install and either PowerShell alone or a combination of Windows PowerShell and PSCONFIG(UI).EXE

If you use Windows 7 or Windows Vista for your development environment, you should have access to a test environment that has the same operating system installed as your production environment. If you are running Windows Server 2008 with SP1, the Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies 2010 Preparation Tool installs Windows Server 2008 SP2 for you.
If you plan to use Windows Server 2008 and Windows PowerShell 1.0 is already installed, you must uninstall Windows PowerShell 1.0 before you can successfully install Windows PowerShell 2.0 CTP3.
If you plan to use Access Services for SharePoint Server 2010, you must install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services Add-in for SharePoint Technologies (SSRS).
