BCS pour Business Connectivity Services de SharePoint 2010 est le successeur des BDC pour Business Data Catalog , de SharePoint 2007.

Sour SharePoint 2010, les BCS se présentent comme un Service Application, ce qui signifie qu'il est distribuable. Les BCS permettent d'utiliser des sources de données externes, et pas seulement des Bases de Données comme beaucoup pourrait le penser, à SharePoint et de les intégrer dans SharePoint comme si le contenu faisait partie intégrante de la plateforme.

Contrairement au BDC, les BCS de SharePoint 2010 permettent de faire du CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) ce qui présente un énorme avantage.

Avec ce seul clic, vous pouvez vérifier, s'il y a des erreurs dans toute caractéristique des Collections (Farm, WebApplication, Site ou Web) dans votre ferme. Si cela fonctionne par le biais de la ferme et vous ne dit « Aucune erreur trouvée », les collections de fonctionnalité du tous votre ferme sont propres.

Si elle détecte une caractéristique défectueuse du champ d'application Web ou un Site, vous pouvez naviguer dans la fenêtre de gauche pour voir les erreurs dans le registre de l'emplacement et les caractéristiques du Web.

Comment développer un plan de gouvernance pour SharePoint Server 2010.

Décrit et illustre comment développer un plan de gouvernance qui inclut la gouvernance informatique,

la gouvernance de gestion d'information et la gouvernance de gestion d'application.

Les stratégies de gouvernance varient généralement selon le type de site.

En général, les sites publiés exercent une gouvernance plus stricte sur la gestion des informations et des applications que les sites d’équipe et les sites Web Mon site.
Chaque type de site doit avoir un plan spécifique au niveau du service informatique, de sorte que les contrats de niveau de service reflètent l’importance du site vis-à-vis de l’organisation dans son ensemble.

Vous devez vous assurer que vos stratégies de gouvernance sont adaptées aux objectifs de votre organisation, et vous devez les maintenir à jour au regard de l’évolution des besoins professionnels. Constituez et utilisez un groupe de gouvernance pour créer les stratégies et en assurer la maintenance, et incluez les rôles des acteurs présents au sein de l’entreprise.

La gouvernance ne fonctionne pas sans l’adhésion complète de l’utilisateur.

Contenu et recherche de qualité, sensibilisation et formation de l’utilisateur final sont des éléments qui sont essentiels à l’adoption de la gouvernance.

Pour la gouvernance de l’informatique, vous pouvez contrôler les services que vous offrez, et exercer un contrôle ou un suivi des installations logicielles dans votre environnement pour empêcher la prolifération de serveurs non gérés que vous ne pouvez pas prendre en charge.

Que fournirez-vous avec chaque service et qu’inclurez-vous dans les contrats de niveau de service pour chaque service ?

Pour la mise en cache, les packages peuvent nécessiter quatre fois leur taille de fichier dans l'espace disque restant lors de l'installation. http://technet.microsoft.com/fr-fr/library/ff806325.aspx

Vous devez redémarrer votre ordinateur à la fin du processus d'installation d'Office 2010 SP1.

Pensez à la fin à passer PSCONFIG.EXE -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force.

Microsoft has developed the Productivity Hub to help support your ongoing end user training efforts.
The Hub is a SharePoint Server site collection that serves as a learning community and is fully customizable. It provides a central place for your training efforts, and includes training content from Microsoft’s core products. Microsoft also provides ongoing and updated content packs.
The Hub uses SharePoint Server’s social networking capabilities, such as blogs and discussion groups. In addition, it offers the Coach program, a change management feature to help you train end users to self-help, reducing the burden on your training and IT staff. The Coach program impacts productivity in a collaborative and positive way.
The 2010 version of the Productivity Hub includes a quiz feature, a section called ‘Get it Done’ that offers training for tasks such as email management and collaboration, and also features Silverlight. There will be a non-Silverlight version of the 2010 Hub delivered in late June.
The 2007 Hub contains 2007 content only (v2) with 2010 content added in v3 (to be released in June 2010). You can also add 2010 content packages to your current Hub. Watch for more document on migration from your 2007 Hub to your 2010 Hub.

The thing to note here is that this is not really about hosting a web site on a Virtual Machine somewhere but more about having machines available for any occasion, testing, developing, research or demos. A note also that the machines will suspend themselves after 90 minutes of inactivity (if you keep the web page open you should be fine), if you are using direct RDP then it may not last that long. All in all, though this is a very compelling solution for everyone. Highly recommend trying it out and seeing what it can do for you. J

Q. What does being an MVP mean to you? (How did you feel to be awarded an MVP?)
A. My first nomination in 2004 was a surprise, because I did not know the content of the MVP program. Until 2010, I shared special instants with the Exchange teams and I would like to thank them for their encouragement and their availability to share their knowledge with their MVPs. This is the main advantage which I see: an annual pass to allow discussing equal to equal with Microsoft’s internal teams. After some years, I consider the renewal Microsoft MVP recognition as a good metric of my commitment. Being a MVP, I need to know how to share my knowledge with others and how I can improve it. Day after day, it is difficult to make sure if I respect this practice. The recognition as MVP is a good method to assess it. I would like to say thank you to my employer, Capgemini, where I work as Office 365 technical expert to bring its support in this recognition. And the last, but not the least, the MVP recognition is a ticket to promote the French culture and expertise and maybe to destroy clichés (for example: Always ready to criticize ;-)) about the strange French people. ;-)

The Hub is a SharePoint Server site collection that serves as a learning community and is fully customizable. It provides a central place for your training efforts, and includes training content from Microsoft’s core products. Microsoft also provides ongoing and updated content packs.
The Hub uses SharePoint Server’s social networking capabilities, such as blogs and discussion groups. In addition, it offers the Coach program, a change management feature to help you train end users to self-help, reducing the burden on your training and IT staff. The Coach program impacts productivity in a collaborative and positive way.
The 2010 version of the Productivity Hub includes a quiz feature, a section called ‘Get it Done’ that offers training for tasks such as email management and collaboration, and also features Silverlight. There will be a non-Silverlight version of the 2010 Hub delivered in late June.

The KB articles are not yet available (as usual it will take a couple more days to get these through the required release process) but the fixes can already be downloaded.

Il y a 4 types basiques de commandes :

Lescmdlets (prononcé command-l’Ets) qui sont des commandes compilés enregistrédans Power Shell. Toutes les cmdlets sont nommés avec une combinaisonverbe-nom. Un exemple de cmdlet « New-SPWebApllication ».

Lesfonctions qui peuvent contenir une ou plusieurs commandes pour accomplir unetâche et peut accepter des paramètres qui permettront la création de coderéutilisable.

Lesscripts qui sont une combinaison de combinaisons de commandes, de fonctions.

The SharePoint 2010 Easy Setup Script is a new set of pre-packaged tools that help developers easily get started with SharePoint 2010 development by automating the provisioning of a developer workstation using Windows 7, SharePoint & associated tools.
Written in Windows PowerShell these scripts will install and configure all the pre-requisites & products to get you up and running with SharePoint development.
Additionally the script will download evaluation copies of the products it installs (or use fully licensed product bits you supply), install them either locally or in a user supplied Windows 7 VHD & set that VHD up for duel boot using the Windows 7 VHD native boot feature. It also allows you to configure what products are installed via a configuration file, so you can add or remove products.
